What you get

New trade accounts, paperwork done

Businesses apply once on tradebuy. You receive your own application form, filled in, with ABN, licence, insurance and trade references attached. You still run your credit check and decide.

Clean purchase orders

Orders arrive in your product codes, at the customer's own trade price, on their account with you. No retyping from a photo of a list.

Customers who pay sooner

Your early-payment discount appears on your customer's due-date screen, at the moment they choose what to pay this week.

Your customers stay yours

They order on their account with you and you invoice them directly. tradebuy doesn't resell, hold stock, take title or pay on anyone's behalf.

Put your early-pay discount where it gets used

A discount buried in your terms of trade rarely changes anything. On tradebuy it shows up next to the invoice, with a date and a dollar figure, while your customer is planning the week's payments.

Add to payment

tradebuy only suggests paying early when the customer's upcoming bills leave room for it. Your customer still pays you directly, by their usual method. Example figures.

Volume pricing, only when the volume turns up

Choose some repeat lines and give tradebuy customers a set price on them. If their combined orders cross your volume tier in a month, you pay tradebuy a rebate on units you've already sold and been paid for. Miss the tier and you pay nothing.

Rebates never change which supplier tradebuy recommends. Customers always see the cheapest price to site first.

Will customers just shop me on price?

tradebuy compares the price to site: delivery fees, minimum orders, stock and arrival time as well as unit price. Customers can also lock a supplier in for a category.

Do you need my price list?

No. Customers bring the pricing from their own account with you. A direct price feed is optional, later.

Can other suppliers see my prices?

No. Suppliers never see each other's prices, and never see what other customers pay.

Does tradebuy pay me?

No. Your customer pays you directly, on your terms. tradebuy shows them what's due and when.

How do orders reach us?

During the pilot, by email in your format. EDI or an API connection can come later if you want it.

Who can join the pilot?

Trade wholesalers, distributors, freight carriers and service providers selling to businesses in Victoria.
